KINGMAN - Left a cell phone on a bus stop bench or maybe your GPS unit took a walk out of your car?
The
Kingman Police Department
is now listing "found" property online.
The list of unclaimed property can be found on KPD's website at www.kingmanpolice.com.
Look for the "Quick Links" on the left hand side of the page and click on "found property list."
The list includes a description of the item, along with the date, time and location it was found.
All property is posted for 30 days. Proof of ownership is required before a claim is approved.
Found property is different than recovered stolen property and can range from everything from cell phones and jewelry to more unusual finds, according to Sgt. Bob Fisk.
"It's been a few years, but I recall that a homemade airplane had part of its door or canopy blown off while in flight and someone found parts of it in Kingman," he said.
So far, the list includes a cell phone, a GPS unit, a bicycle and a metallic cross.
