Riding the bus is about to get more affordable for commuters in the Kingman area.
The City Council on Tuesday voted 7-0 to approve discounted daily and weekly passes through Kingman Area Regional Transit.
Currently, riders pay $1.50 per ride, meaning if they have to change buses they pay an additional $1.50.
The new prices are $5 for a daily pass and $65 for a monthly pass. Seniors 60 and over and military veterans of any age can purchase a monthly pass for $55.
