KINGMAN - An investigation into a shots fired call on Tuesday led to a tense standoff Wednesday in Kingman when two men, one of them reportedly armed with a sawed-off shotgun, barricaded themselves in a home with two young children inside.
Members of the Mohave County Sheriff's Tactical Operations Unit and hostage negotiators were deployed to the home in the 4000 block of Irving Avenue after deputies learned both men inside refused to exit the home and that children were also inside.
Ultimately, the two four-year-old children were safely removed from the home through a window and four people were arrested on a host of felony charges including child endangerment and assault on a police officer.
Nolan Gene Martin, 36, Manuel Ricardo Duvall, 19, Gina Maria Denubilo, 32, and 58-year-old Jimmy Lee Clouse were arrested at the scene.
