KINGMAN - Alcohol or drugs did not play a role in an accident Saturday that left a motorcyclist dead, according to the
Kingman Police Department
Audie C. Farmer, 45, of Kingman was killed when he crashed his motorcycle into a horse trailer that was being towed behind a truck driven by a 71-year-old Phoenix man.
Farmer, who was not wearing a helmet, reportedly put the bike on its side before impact. He was not speeding.
The driver of the truck had pulled out of a business parking lot in the 3200 block of E. Andy Devine Avenue and into Farmer's path, according to city police.
The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Police do not expect to file criminal charges, according to Capt. Rusty Cooper.
