KINGMAN - A Mohave County jury on Friday returned seven guilty verdicts against a Kingman man charged in the sexual molestation of an 11-year-old girl.
Fred Allen Young Jr., 43, was arrested in April 2010 on several charges. In addition to molesting the girl, he also videotaped her over a 30-day period through a hole in the bathroom door.
Young sat with his head down and his elbows on his knees throughout the proceeding. He did not look at the jury or acknowledge his attorney.
Kingman police officers arrested Young after the girl's mother saw images on Young's video camera.
The jury spent about an hour and 15 minutes in deliberations before returning guilty verdicts on two counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual abuse involving a minor under 15 years of age, a count of sexual exploitation of a minor, a count of voyeurism and a count of surreptitious videotaping.
The molestations occurred on separate occasions in both the defendant's and victim's bedrooms.
Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle set a sentencing hearing for June 3.
