MOHAVE COUNTY - Mohave County Supervisor Buster Johnson has been appointed vice-chairman of National Association of Counties' Cyber Security Task Force. Supervisor Johnson was first appointed to the task force in 2012 to assist with its formation and organization.
"As cyber security attacks on information technology systems continue to grow, it is important that local governments are aware of the dangers and consequences of such an attack," Johnson stated.
The task force is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
