Pair arrested with 65 pounds of marijuana near Kingman

KINGMAN - Two Texans whom law enforcement officials say had roughly 65 pounds of high-grade marijuana in their vehicle were arrested Wednesday after an officer with the Arizona
Department of Public Safety
stopped the driver on Interstate 40 west of Kingman.
Krysten Trautman, 26, and Joseph Pepe, 25, of Austin face felony charges of transportation of marijuana for sale. The bust came after sheriff's office K9 Ecko alerted to the 2013 Chevrolet Captiva rental car, which was on its way from Austin to Sacramento, Calif.
Three suitcases contained the weed. The DPS estimated it had a street value of about $320,000.
