Pursuit leads to pair's indictment in Mohave County


KINGMAN - Two Kingman men who were allegedly caught burglarizing a home in the 8100 block of Route 66 in Valle Vista Feb. 5 were among 18 people the Mohave County Grand Jury indicted Thursday.

The homeowner called 911 after he allegedly spotted the men loading the caller's property into a truck. He then followed the men into the desert near a subdivision in the area of Route 66 and Lone Mountain Road.

Deputies conducted a high-risk stop and took the men into custody without incident.

Paul Joseph Malina, 44, and 37-year-old Christopher Robert Dean were indicted on a felony count of third-degree burglary.

Judge Ken Gregory will arraign the men at 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The grand jury also indicted the following people (note - all arraignments will occur at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the jail unless otherwise noted):

• Megan Marie Cisney: Nine counts of forgery and taking the identity of another.

Judge Steven Conn was assigned the case.

• Andrew Joshua Parker: Second-degree burglary, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judge Rick Williams was assigned the case.

• Henry Eugene Drew: Aggravated assault, two counts of assault (misdemeanors) and threatening or intimidating (misdemeanor).

Judge Williams was assigned the case.

• Cory Wayne Hill: Theft of means of transportation.

Williams was assigned the case.

• Randall Alexander Gretsch: First-degree criminal trespass by domestic violence, interfering with judicial proceedings by domestic violence (misdemeanor) and criminal damage by domestic violence (misdemeanor).

Carlisle was assigned the case.

• Bret Michael McElwain: Aggravated domestic violence, assault by domestic violence (misdemeanor) and disorderly conduct by domestic violence (misdemeanor).

Conn was assigned the case.

• John Richard Carlson: Third-degree escape.

Conn was assigned the case.

• Jorge Basurto-Garibay and Raquel Acacia Martinez: Two counts of unlawful use of means of transportation and criminal damage (misdemeanor).

Kari Ann Manweiler, Mara Ann McGriff and Lois Ann Nixon: conspiracy to sell dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), two counts of sale of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), possession of dangerous drugs for sale (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine), possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn was assigned the cases.

• Inthava Keophilavanh: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams was assigned the case.

• Aurora Marie Molina: Possession of narcotics for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carlisle will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Wilson Harvard Brooks: Possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and threatening or intimidating by domestic violence (misdemeanor).

Williams was assigned the case.

Cierra Jade Hansen: Theft of means of transportation, possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine), forgery and taking the identity of another.
