KINGMAN - Golden Valley firefighter Matt Gore sprays water on a trailer fire in what officials initially thought was a tanker-truck hauling fuel.

The incident prompted a shutdown of Interstate 40 eastbound at milepost 41 at about 11 a.m. Thursday.

The interstate was soon reopened when it was learned the tanker was carrying orange juice and the fire was extinguished.

Golden Valley firefighters put out the trailer fire and nearby brush it set ablaze.

Traffic was impacted for about 30 minutes.
