KINGMAN - The former pastor of a local church has popped up in a rather unlikely place - the offices of India's Anti-Terror Squad.
Kenneth Haywood, formerly the pastor of the Potter's House Christian Fellowship at 2675 Northern Ave., was the subject of an ATS investigation following a series of blasts July 26 in the Indian city of Ahmedabad that left 45 dead and more than 160 injured.
According to a July 27 article by the UK-based Guardian newspaper, several Indian television stations received an e-mail warning of the bomb attack approximately five minutes before the bombs went off.
While the e-mail claimed to be from a group called the Indian Mujahideen, the ATS traced the e-mail to Haywood's home wireless Internet protocol address.
The Mumbai-based newspaper Daily News & Analysis reported that Haywood was subjected to lie-detector and brain-mapping tests last Wednesday, along with several other residents of Mumbai's sister city, Navi Mumbai.
The article said 10 computers were seized from the building where Haywood's family lives, though only three of the computers were from Haywood's residence. The following day, the paper reported that officials seized four more computers from neighboring Mumbai.
Haywood is a corporate training manager with Campbell White, a self-described "soft skills communication company" that teaches native Indians communication skills for working at American companies.
However, another article published last Wednesday by another Mumbai-based newspaper, The Indian Express, said that ATS officials found the story of Haywood's employer "of a slightly dubious nature." The article identifies the company's managing director, Daniel Rubianes, as the pastor of the Door Christian Centre, which is part of the Pentacostal Christian Fellowship Ministries, otherwise known as The Potter's House. The article further lists Haywood as a functionary of the Potter's House in Mumbai and identifies several other employees of the company, among them Scott Grabowska, David Curwen-Walker and Johnathan Heimberg, as having links to the church.
The Miner contacted Haywood via e-mail late Friday afternoon. He did not dispute his church involvement in Mumbai, though he did maintain that his role in the congregation was separate from his job, as it had been when he worked at First American Title in Kingman.
"The first year here was fantastic, my business grew by leaps and bounds, and I got involved in helping a small struggling congregation that had been that way for some time get off the ground as well," Haywood said.
He said the whole situation surrounding the Ahmedabad bombings had been very stressful for his wife and two daughters, and he was hoping to repair customer relationships that had been damaged over the course of the investigation.
"The reality here is, from day one, the investigators here have told me, my attorney, my company, and the American State Department that I am a victim of someone tapping into my wireless router," Haywood said.
He added that dealing with the Indian media was akin to dealing with 27 branches of the National Enquirer all at once.
"Honestly, this has been the craziest thing I have ever been through," Haywood said. "I have been reported to be everything from a CIA spy to a commando.
"I had one inspector ask me if I was a Navy SEAL," he continued. "I said, 'You have got to be kidding, have you ever seen a SEAL? No, I am just a middle-aged guy trying to raise my family and do my job.'"
Following the ATS investigation of Haywood, Campbell White proceeded to remove much of the contact information, and even the last names, of its staff from its corporate Web site, campbellwhite.net.
A statement posted by the company said this was to protect employees from "malicious intents from anyone, including overambitious media."
Another statement released by Campbell White said that local police had "eliminated (Haywood) as a suspect" in the July 26 bombings, and now believed that "his Internet connection was compromised."
"Officials have determined that Mr. Haywood's computer and/or e-mail address were compromised by a third party and illegally misused," the statement continued. "Contrary to erroneous press reports, neither Mr. Haywood, family members, landlord, or anyone connected with Campbell White have been detained by the police or charged with any crime whatsoever."
Haywood had said much the same in a separate interview with the Hindustan Times published July 30.
"They told me from the start that I had never been a suspect, and they were very professional throughout," he said.
When the Times asked if he had been frightened by the turn of events, Haywood said he had, but added that he had no intention of leaving India.
"Terrorists win if they force you to hide," he said.

Aussie PH member, if what you say is true then it's true that a world-wide split in Wayman Mitchell's CFM churches is about to occur! This has been predicted by someone in-the-know just this past spring and it's going to be a much bigger split than just a few pastors leaving Mitchell's currupt pyramid scheme cult or a few churches in the US. The tithing issue alone is enough to raise an eyebrow:
Mitchell has said over and over again "Only tithing Christians are really saved - the rest are going to hell!" Mitchell likes to preach out of Malachai and tell his worldwide congregation, "if you aren't tithing then you are robbing God and no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven" and other such legalistic mandates which are part of the Old Covenant which was fulfilled in the completed work of Christ Jesus on the cross. Tithing is NOT a mandate of the New Covenant but instead free will love offerings to help defray the needs of widows, orphans, and the homeless is the pattern of the New Testament Church as taught by the Apostle James, as depicted in the book of Acts and in accordance with the teachings of the Apostle Paul. Nowhere is tithing carried over from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant ever hinted at in the Bible. Tithes were for Levitical priests in the OT and in the NT we as Christians are ALL Priests and Priestesses after Christ's order.
There are many Potter's House distinctives worth investigating both to those within the CFM church walls and those without who are interested. Growing numbers of CFM/PH folks are questioning the veracity of what they've been taught and the validity of what their church practices in light of the Bible. Indeed many are ready to waltz right out the Potter's House Door and it's about to happen in a BIG WAY!
In the matter of those who leave the Potter's House its a known fact that Mitchell teaches those who leave are to be avoided and no contact is to be made with them except for harrassing them and calling them "disobedient rebels, backsliders, backstabbers and betrayers of Christ and those who have left their first love" etc especially of they leave and join up with a Calvary Chapel.
One of the most alarming doctrines in the Potter's House which has been stressed by Mitchell since 1970 is the Headship doctrine which is Pastor's Authority over each person in the church. PH members are expected to submit to their headship authority ie their pastor and what he says without question. There is no where in the Bible that teaches this doctrine! Jesus didn't teach it, neither did ANY of the Apostles! No man can claim to be 'headship' over another person in the Church or his little church - Jesus ALONE and Him ONLY is True HEADSHIP over ALL the Church made up of believers throughout the world who make up the Body of Christ in a Global sense. Any person who claims to be headship over any in the Church is a blasphemer!
Another alarming practice in the Potter's House is what's commonly known in Theological circles as 'eclesiastical corporate glossolalia (speaking in tongues) en mass' which means simply this a Potter's House church full of people all speaking in tongues at once in an open meeting. This is in direct, flagrant open contradiction to what the Apostle Paul taught on the subject in I Corinthians chapters 12 & 14 where he chided the church at Corinth for doing this very thing and demanded that they cease and desist from its practice. Paul instructed them on the usage of tongues as a spiritual gift and Mitchell's Potter's House violates scripture in favor of his Charismatic/Shepherding Movements experiential theology that bases doctrines on experiences rather than on the solid foundation of the Word of God. Mitchell ignores Paul's admonishion and insists that a room full of Potterites all yelling in Tongues in one accord at the top of their lungs, as if God is deaf is proof that their church has Holy Ghost power, when in fact according to Paul this indeed quenches the Spirit!
There exists a "God will heal those who have enough faith" and "those who give enough and pay their tithes" mentality that is both unrealistic and unreasonable in terms of the Bible is plain that God heals out of His soveriegnty not on the orders of men. Those who are prayed for that don't get healed are looked at as if they are 2nd class Christians and lower class Potterites. They are often treated with contempt and accused, gossiped about and others are asked to leave if they aren't healed. Many are ridiculed from the pulpit by the pastors and are made the subject of sermon topics as if there isn't enough sermon fodder in the Bible to preach, they have to resort to low tactics such as these. One has to ask, "Why hasn't Wayman Mitchell's deaf ear been healed?" or "Why hasn't Harold Warner (Pastor of The Door CFM church in Tuscon) been healed of his injuries that put him in a wheelchair some 35 years ago as the result of an automobile accident?"
Church members are expected to be present every time the doors are open. This keeps the members occupied 5-7 nights a week. They are instructed to stay away from their non-CFM family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. They are expected to abide by the pastors demands as to whom they can date, marry or what vocation they can persue. All major purchases must go thru the pastor for his approval, (including buying a car, a house, a washing machine or a couch!) as well as all major decisions concerning school, college, change of jobs or career, induction or severance from the Military or any other activity civic, private, or recreational. Vacations are discouraged. Visiting another church is not to be even considered and any sneaking around to other churches is grounds to get kicked out! Personal time is discouraged as well as fishing or hunting trips, holiday visits to family elsewhere in the state or country etc. Members kids are discouraged from going out for sports or going to college. Joining the military is also discouraged. TV and all secular media outlets are discouraged as well. Even the Internet! (even though Mitchell has computers and TV!)
There is obvious control factor issues present here in these things. Pastors are to micro-manage their prople which in effect keeps him busy 24 hrs a day going about Mitchell's business. The people in the cheap seats are so busy with their nose to the grindstone they don't realize they are in a cult working for Mitchell on one of his church treadmills.
This church presents a danger in that members are mass hypnotized via intensive meetings night after night where psychological thought control tactics and behavior modification techniques are employed to keep members glues to their seats night after night for fear of displeasing God and for the guilt that is heaped upon them for not doing more, not giving more etc. There is real abuse going on here and has been proven by people like Rick Ross who has personally intervened and rescued people from this cult.
There is little in the way of a real structure of authority in the Potter's House except that Wayman Mitchell is the head of it, he makes all the important decisions and all changes must go thru him and be approved by his rubber stamp. He in effect answers to no one, he has no headship which he is submitted to, which makes him a dictator and the history that follows his organization shows that he is a loose cannon.
There is no official doctrinal statement therefor there is not a strong list of doctrines in print to measure their actions or words by. Their is not one shred of Biblical basis for the way the Potter's House conducts so-called ministry.
Lastly the reports of those who have left the Potter's House are alarming to such a degree that it is not something to just shrug off as disgruntled churchgoers. There are real complaints of abuse and instances of physical harm done to persons and property of those who have left.
Again if things are indeed beginning to change in Aussie PH churches, as in the foregoing problems are being corrected, know this, that the church in Prescott is not authorizing those changes and heads are about to roll. I'd say the 3rd big mass Exodus from Wayman Mitchell's CFM is about to explode!
The split of January 1990 led by Ron Jones and Jack Harris saw over 100 CFM pastors and churches pull from CFM's ranks and in the monthes to come over 100 more split as Mike & Larry Neville pulled their Praise Chapel churches from affiliation with Mitchell and CFM. A decade later the split of 2000-2001 saw many of the important leaders who had been with Mitchell since the beginning leave and behind their exit 100's of other pastors and churches followed!
This split is about to happen and when it does, look out, because the house of cards called the Potter's House is going to cave in like a worn out accordion in a hurricane!
There is LIFE after the Potter's House and you can serve God without being in that cult!

To Aussie PH Member:
From what you are saying I would conclude that the Australia PH is not in line with Lord Waymanchrist. Pastors that do not judge ex-members for rebelling against god (Wayman O.), will be forced to repent or face redirection (hell on earth). According to Paul Stephens if you do not believe in keeping the LAW of tithing, you are to be kicked out of the church (CFM)and on your way to hell. Its only a matter of time before you get a rude awakening to all the law keeping that is mandated from Prescott. The good news is that this cults days are numbered, and God's people will be set free.

I would have to say that you can't tar all the potters house churches with the same brush. I've visited many of the churches, and yes, for sure there are churches that show cultish tendancies, but I've also been in many where the Pastor is genuinely trying to build a biblically based church. For example, I've never heard the tithe = salvation doctrine preached in our church, yes tithing is encouraged, and personalyl I choose to tithe, but I think it's a personal choice, not a savlation issue.
I've also never heard anyone who has left called a rebel. I've prayed for a few people who have genuinely backsliden, not just gone to another church.

Nobody here is disputing Haywood's innocence as far as a terrorist suspect is concerned. It's clear his computer was insecure and the terrorists who hacked into his system used it to send those messages. Yes, the ATS still has questions and will get to the bottom of this.
What's in question is a internattional church that's a known cult (just Google CFM, Wayman Mitchell, Potter's House etc) involved in this via their sending a missionary team under the radar so to speak posing as an Internet Technology soft skills communications training corporation called Campbell White operating out of the same building as their church plant.
It's obviously sneaky and that is exactly how the Indian Gov't preceives this. They have issued a statement recently that they do not believe that Haywood is a pastor nor an IT training person.
What they make of this over the long haul may cause India to pass laws and make important decisions regarding legitimate missionary efforts in their country in the near future. CFM/Campbell White's duplicity in the matter combined with Haywood's obvious uncooperation by fleeing the country while still a person of interest (that means he was still a suspect) before completed testing and evaluation could be concluded has indeed brought a black eye upon themselves as well as bona fide Christian missionary efforts by churches who hold a higher standard than that of CFM who will not stoop to lying about WHY they are in the country.
REAL missionaries don't go to the nations under the guise of selling insurance or TV repairmen or anything else for that matter.
I recently read a blog remark by a person once affiliated with Mitchell & CFM Potter's House church who said the real reason CFM doesn't plant churches in real poor 3rd world countries (like Iraq) is because there is no money in it. There's obviously money to be made in India! Campbell White which is indeed part of Mitchell's CFM org is headed up by no less than 3 'former' (at least in terms of their US visa applications) so-called pastors and Mitchell's son-in-law.
What better way to perpetuate their cult than to send in a so-called missionary team made up of CFM pastors and Mitchell family members posing as an IT corporation that trains Indian people to work for American businesses, which increases the income of those trained and put into positions in US firms in India. All the while Campbell White's CFM 'Door Church' located in the same building where they train personel is busy proselyting them preaching the 'gospel' of Wayman Mitchell which is built upon deception and deceipt, bait and switch, mid-stream doctrinal leaps from the initial grace of God to the works of man being the primary focus for maintaining ones salvation experience.
The bottom line isn't whether there's any guilt here for internet terrorism in the India bombing. It's about the spiritual terrorism that an international cult is heaping upon the nations by sending in imposter missionary teams posing as corporate entities for the purposes of making money.

People who stumble upon this site, will have many different reasons for reading these posts. I am a real person who attended the Potters House in the US for more than twenty years. If you are still in the Potters House, you may not believe what people are saying is true. You have been told that anyone who leaves the fellowship is in "rebellion". I believed it also. But what you are reading about the abuse of power, mind control, shaky doctrines, keeping women in their place, is all true. If you are still going to the potters house, you are being told a lie. You will not be saved by attending church, and prayer almost every day, but by Grace through belief in Jesus Christ. Likewise, you will not go to hell, or be out of the will of God forever if you chose to attend another church. Many of my close family members still attend the Potters House Church, aka The Christian Fellowship Church, and I will always love them, but just because "everyone" else around you believes something to be true, does not make it so. The people who make up these churches for the most part sincerely love God, and they feel they are dedicating their life to "the cause", but at what cost?
Should single people who want to date and marry only be allowed to date within the church group? Are woman who chose to attend college and have a career, when they have a family, "out from under their husbands covering"? Will someone who isn't tithing 10% of their gross go to hell? Are you backslidden if you go see a movie? Why did Jesus turn the water into wine if it will cause someone to go to hell if they drink it? Can you believe in the Holy Spirit, but not have the evidence of tonges? Why are you asked to go to prayer every morning and before services, to be seen by your pastor, but the bible speaks clearly of a prayer closet? Do you realize that when you first go to the Potters House you will be tenderly loved and invited to everyones house, but if you were to leave, you are completely cut off, as if you never attended. And your name is going to be mud, no matter how saintly you try to make a graceful exit. These people are only your "friends" as long as you support the doctrine, because when you leave to attend another church, they will no longer be able to associate with you.
These are some questions you may want to ask yourself...I am a real person who chose to go to another church and had to deal with all of the changes it made in my life. Some were hard to deal with because my whole life I had been taught a certain way of thinking. But in the end, I have found freedom in Christ Jesus, even if every Potters House attendee would reject me and my life, I know that my Savior loves and accepts me.

For me the issue is that this con-man from CFM is posing as a soft-skills professional in India. Campbell White is just a front group for the CFM cult. Total deception and in my opinion a crime. Whether he is a terrorist or not has not been determined. All I know is that he along with the gospel of Wayman Mitchell have been destroying lives all over the world for 30+ years

sir, its not the issue whether the church is cult or the man is someting else!? it seems this man is innocent in this case.it may be possible that those terrorists who stayed in the same building may used his "unsecured" wireless interconnection for their activities. further case procedures have to be done.

To last commeny from Jim:
How does he KNOW that the people he says complain have never entered into the PH or have never read their bible? This is a stupid, asinine statement and based on nothing. It is a typical response you would hear from a PH member. The fact is there are 1000's of people who have left PH and I am one of them. 13 years in that place. There are countless testimonies from past members that verify PH is a cult that destroys families.

This is no surprise to me. Wayman Mitchell is a crook from the get go. His organization has hurt me and my family. It's about time that the truth comes out about this "cult". The only thing that worries me about the exposure of this group is that it brings out their true cult mentality. In their minds they are being "persecuted" for the gospel of Jesus Christ which is so untrue, because they have no clue what the gospel is. They teach a works based salvation, and it takes "money" to "keep saved". Sheisters indeed.

May the poor people duped by this "church" wake up and smell the coffee. There is life outside of the Potters House. God is not like he is portrayed within the prison walls of CFM churches.

As for the "the gospel of Wayman Mitchell" as Truthseeker so aptly put it, there is the real rub! Sure they preach the Gospel to a point: "Jesus died for your sins" they tell the potential convert on the street. Then comes the bait and switch: "But Jesus only made a down payment so you have to keep up your tithe payments in order to stay saved!" come Sunday morning.
Mitchell's so called gospel is no gospel at all because in Mitchell's CFM churches HE is the potter in 'his' Potter's House churches - not the Lord. The notion that he would send a shell company into a 3rd world nation as a front for missionaries or evangelists really speaks volumes of the depth of deception this cult is capable of!
Mitchell's churches teach an elitist message, with a separatist view that demands the flock to shun non-CFM family, friends, neighbors, co-workers etc. They are kept busy 5-7 days & nites a week with actvities at church or in home Bible studies. This is a controlled atmosphere and one that gains inroads into a person's psyche by repitition and constant activity.
The little people in Mitchell's CFM organization are building 'his' (Mitchell's) kingdom NOT God's! His is a message of an angry 'god' demanding endless works i.e. perfect church attendance and each convert's total submission to CFM pastor authority known as 'headship'. In CFM Mitchell is #1 'Headship' and individual pastors as #2 'headship' - Members answer to their pastor and all in CFM answer to Mitchell.
CFM members are subjected to manipulation and mind control which is abuse in many ways including spiritual, mental, social, financial, psychological, emotional and even political and physical abuse!
Members are expected to publically Tithe without fail or else disciplinary actions are taken. They are told God expects them to give until it hurts so they can hear from the Lord - often to the detriment of their children's well being.
They are told who to date, who to marry, where to work, what to buy, where to live etc. They are chained to their chairs via invisible chains of fear and guilt, the tools of Cult leverage to keep them coming back and to keep giving their money, time, energy, talents etc. Those who leave are reduced to an expendable human resource.
CFM is a works oriented Legalistic church which has combined covenants that make up their doctrine. Paul addessed this issue in all 5 chapters of his Epistle to the Galatians! Read your Bible!
CFM is not a New Covenant church because of their emphasis on works, particularly tithing for salvation. In CFM there is no true Gospel of love or grace, nor of peace and joy. It's an angry religion that represents Wayman Mitchell's small angry god. He has a messiah complex which he bases his claims to be the one called to restore the local church & the vision of New Testament church planting. Nothing could be further from the truth!
Mitchell hasn't restored anything because the Church of Jesus which He started 2000 years ago has never fallen away & Jesus alone resides as True Headship over ALL of the Body of Christ ie the TRUE Church made up of True Believers scattered across the Earth who Truly know Him as Lord & Savior.
As for the Early Church example of church planting CFM, like the majority of it's distinctives, they have yet to actually move into the New Covenant which is a pre-requisite for them to ever become a New Testament church!
In short CFM members are taught that their's is the true vision of God for the Church, that their's is the one church that's evangeizing the world, that their's is the place to get saved and stay saved. Bottom line Jesus IS the Way, the Truth and the Life NOT Potter's House! There is no name under heaven by which we can be saved.
YES, there are people who are saved in CFM but this whole deal of "There's saved and then there's Potters's House saved" is whacked!
CFM is an enviroment of Christianity that is to be lived within the walls of the CFM church 7 days a week. Where's the REAL experience with God that changes ones life OUTSIDE the walls of the church? Where is their miraculous power that transforms lives which causes those outside CFM's walls to take notice?
And to return to topic, where are pastors who really make a dent in their community instead of prefering to become a corporate businessman in order to slip into a country such as India for the purpose of evangelizing? Frankly, I don't see either has happened in this case.
Even more to the point for the Body of Christ in Kingman: Where is your evangelism in your own town?
Church attendance down? Well, hey, how about actually moving into the New Covenant and teaching the Truth in Love? You know the one where people get Faith, the kind that produces Love, the kind of Love that produces good Works which are True Fruit of Righteousness, the kind that gives hope to their neighbor. Or are you all a bunch of little bless me clubs building your own kingdoms?

Campbell White is just a front organization set up by CFM to facilitate their agenda of "evangelizing" India. They are master deceivers. Unbeknownst to the Indian people, this cults main objective is to get their well oiled pyramid money scheme rolling in that country, to further the gospel of Wayman Mitchell of Prescott. The CFM is a dangereous religious cult that has been destroying individuals and families for nearly 3 decades.

The Potter's House is a worldwide cult! The company Ken Haywood is working for (Campbell & White) is a front to get so called western missionaries into India. Joe Campbell is the leader of the Door Chrsitian Center in Chandler, Arizona and Mike White is the leader of the Potter's House Christian Fellowship in Launceston, TAS Australia. Both men come under the leadership of Wayman Mitchell the ultimate leader of the Cult "Christian Fellowship Ministries" (CFM)which is the umbrella organisation for the Door Christian Fellowship and the Potter's House Christian Fellowship. Google "Wayman Mitchell" to see the extent of the damamge this cult is doing.
