2009 Fun Run Events

Friday

Noon to 6 p.m. - Fun Run registration at ACME Mobile Storage in Seligman.

2 to 6 p.m. - Cottage Hotel in Seligman open to visitors.

6 p.m. - 22nd Annual Miss Historic Route 66 Pageant in the gymnasium at Seligman High.

8 p.m. - Cruisin' Route 66 Parade in Seligman.

8 p.m. to 1 a.m. - Live music at Black Cat Bar in Seligman.

Saturday

Dawn - Early bird line up on Historic Route 66 in Seligman.

7 to 10:30 a.m. - Pancake breakfast at Aztec Motel parking lot in Seligman.

7 to 10 a.m. - Final registration at ACME Mobile Storage in Seligman.

10 a.m. - Angel Delgadillo starts the first car on the run to Kingman from Seligman.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Hamburger and hot dog grill with live music at Grand Canyon Caverns.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Live music in Peach Springs.

10 a.m. - Fun Run stop at mile marker 71 in Valle Vista for firemen's barbecue with craft and bake sale.

Noon to 4 p.m. - Entertainment by the Bill Bailey Band in Kingman.

3 to 5 p.m. - Show & Shine anonymous judging in Kingman.

5:30 to 9 p.m. - Route 66 scholarship dinner at the Powerhouse in Kingman.

All day - Museum of Flight open at Kingman Airport.

All day - Station 66 Convenience Store and Gas Station designated parking for Fun Run in Kingman.

All day - Activities and vendors at Locomotive Park and Powerhouse in Kingman.

All day - Author Jim Hinckley signs "Route 66 Backroads" at Powerhouse.

All day - Hualapai Tribe no-host barbecue/Indian taco lunch, dances and crafts in Peach Springs.

All day - Food, crafts, homemade pies and activities at Frontier Café in Truxton.

All day - Old Route 66 Visitor's Center Open in Hackberry.

Sunday

Dawn - Early bird line up on Route 66 at Powerhouse in Kingman.

7 to 10 a.m. - Fun Run breakfast at Powerhouse sponsored by VFW Post 10386.

10 a.m. - Vehicles start run to Oatman.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Tour of restored vintage 1926 Mobile State in Cool Springs.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Refreshments, food and vendors at Topock/Golden Shores.

12:30 to 3:30 p.m. - DJ Ken Cates performs at Topock/Golden Shores.

2 p.m. - Show and shine awards ceremony, raffles and farewell announcements at Topock/Golden Shores.

All day - Live music, live burros and gunfights by World Famous Oatman Ghostriders in Oatman.
