Restaurants to donate to Code 3

KINGMAN - Taco Bell restaurants and multi-brand Taco Bell/Long John Silver's restaurants in Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, Parker and Needles, Calif., will raise funds for Code 3 - Clothe the Kids on Friday.

During the hours of 5 to 8 p.m., the locally owned and operated franchise restaurants will donate 15 percent of sales to Code 3 - Clothe the Kids in Mohave County and similar organizations in Parker and Needles.

There are many families in the area who are having a hard time making ends meet, especially as the holiday season approaches. The Code 3 - Clothe the Kids program provides new clothing, including undergarments and a warm jacket, to help needy families with children from birth to 14 years of age.

Last year Code 3 - Clothe the Kids was able to clothe 714 children.

Help make this year's event even more successful. Tax-deductible donations, made payable to Code 3 - Clothe the Kids, can be sent to P. O. Box 3993, Kingman, AZ 86402.

For more information about the organization, contact Marvin Taylor at (928) 530-2312.
