KINGMAN - The driver of a car that overturned in an accident Friday has been upgraded to fair condition.
Kyle Wesley Williams, 24, was airlifted to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center following an accident in the 4000 block of Ryan Street around 11:35 p.m. Friday. Williams, of Golden Valley, was at the wheel of a Volkswagen Jetta that hit a truck and flipped on its side. Two other people, ages 19 and 24, were in the car when it overturned.
Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office say the Jetta was going about 60 miles an hour when Williams lost control while approaching a curve in the road.
The Jetta hit a parked Dodge truck before it overturned. The owner of the truck said she was visiting her parents at their residence and had only been parked out front of their house for less than two hours. She said the truck is likely a total loss.
A 23-year-old male in the front seat of the Jetta complained of chest and neck pain but refused treatment at the scene, according to Trish Carter, spokesperson with the Sheriff's Office.
A 19-year-old male in the back seat was said to be disoriented and was taken to Hualapai Mountain Medical Center.
Carter said that deputies have determined that all three occupants of the Jetta had been drinking. The 19-year-old will be charged with misdemeanor minor in consumption after his blood alcohol content tested at .041 percent.
A blood sample was taken from Williams to be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for further analysis.

Not all of his "brothers" and "sisters" agree with the bad day comment. I dont care if your having the worst day of your life It gives you NO Right to put other lives in danger and Kyle did Starting with his passenger that got his face messed up, His grandma that had a heart attack and went to the hospital when she found out, and other peoples property and ending with himself! Being a part of his circle of friends does not mean We think what he did was not wrong, ALOT of Us are not happy with him at ALL.

@ BOO Watcher
I hope they get better , too. Maybe, after they get out of jail, maybe Williams will get himself a hat with some brains in it.

He had a bad day??? BOOOO Freakin HOOOOO, who doesn't have a bad day....... NOT AN EXCUSE FOR STUPIDITY..... Not to mention the fact that he could have KILLED someone..... There is NO excuse for drinking and driving...... You should be ashamed not defensive...... But I guess you may not care that someone could have been killed, your brother himself could have been killed..... What a shame, may god forgive you.

I was at the scene of the accident and all that Williams could worry about was his precious car, he didnt worry about his passengers or any of the damage he had caused. Not only the truck sistained damage but the residents fence and two other vehicles.

I wonder if these clowns were also playing loud music while they rampaged through the neighborhood?

I guess this is a clear case of NOT driving while old, eh? The driver was described as being 24 years old, had been drinking, and was driving about 60mph in a residential area where the speed limit is 25mph.

A misdemeanor???? Come on this is serious stuff. Who is this young man related to? Must be someone important. What about his speed in a 25 mph district going 60? Something is fishy in Kingman again. So tired of this.

Apparently a relative is upset at me for saying "n e thing" about their brother who caused this accident on the previous story page. I would like to add here after the secondary cause to the accident besides speed has come out in this 2nd part to the story, that there are NO excuses for ANYONE driving drunk. NO ONE is exempt from doing that. Not me, not him, not the Pope, not ANYONE. A drunk driver getting behind the wheel of a car, is the same thing as placing a bullet into the chamber of a revolver pistol and spinning the cylender just before squeezing the trigger. You have no idea which time you squeez, will be the one time that fire's the bullet from the gun. Your brother is lucky to be alive, lucky he killed no one, and will be lucky with what ever permanent injuries he sustained as a result to this accident. Not to mention that he will be lucky with whatever sentence is handed down to him by the court. If he was having a bad day when this happened, it will be nothing compared to the bad days he has ahead him now. Again, I hope he and his friends get better and they have learned the lessons here.
