Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Henry William Herrera, 41, of Golden Valley, Oct. 24 for felony aggravated DUI/suspended driver's license. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Northern Avenue around 12:15 p.m. and contacted the driver, Herrera. Deputies said they smelled a heavy odor of alcohol on Herrera and observed him to be extremely nervous and his speech to be slightly slurred. A records check showed Herrera's driver's license to be suspended. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded an open bottle of alcohol. Herrera reportedly refused to submit to a breath analysis and a blood sample was taken.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Marty Brandon Tisdale, 32, of Golden Valley Oct. 30 for felony possession of a weapon by prohibited person and possession of dangerous drugs. Deputies observed a silver 4-door sedan traveling 47 miles per hour in a posted 25 mph zone. At 1:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at Marshall Drive and East Ames Avenue. Deputies observed Tisdale's hands to be shaking. When deputies asked Tisdale if there any weapons in the vehicle, he said there were none. A consent search of Tisdale revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, which later field-tested positive for methamphetamine. He was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed a gun under the driver's seat. A criminal history check showed Tisdale to have numerous felony arrests. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tina Marie Olivito, 43, of Kingman Wednesday for felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 8:39 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Potter Avenue and contacted Olivito, the driver. Deputies observed Olivito to be very nervous as she was shaking when she provided registration and driver's license. She allegedly told the officer that she had a meth pipe in her purse. A search of Olivito's purse revealed a glass pipe with residue and a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Olivito was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Caleb Shane Faylor, 19, of Kingman, Wednesday for felony aggravated assault per domestic violence and a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. At 12:03 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a possible stabbing at a residence in the 600 block of Phoenix Avenue. An 18-year-old man said that he and Faylor were arguing when Faylor grabbed a knife and started swinging it at him. The man said he was cut in his left arm, right elbow and his right finger. He ran into his bedroom while Faylor punched his bedroom window from outside, injuring himself. The man called 911 but refused medical treatment. Deputies observed that Faylor's right hand was bleeding. River Medical transported Faylor to Kingman Regional Medical Center where he was treated and later released. Faylor was taken into custody without incident. A records check showed Faylor to have an outstanding warrant.
